Calypso Cascades and Ouzel Falls

Distance: 2.0 miles one way

Difficulty:    Moderately Strenuous.  180 ft descent via 232 steps.

This was another hike recommended by the visitors bureau.  we almost didn't try it due to the "232 steps" we were warned about by the old folks at the campground.  But we plodded on and went on a very pleasant walk through the canyon with a pit stop at a dock down the trail laying in the sun with feet dipped in the cool water eating peanut butter filled pretzels.

I am also proud to report I made it up all the steps in one go despite the poor shape that I'm in right now.  Yipppeeee!!
